Just as expected our snowflake Liberal government is not taking any valuable action.

I just got back from an international flight last Saturday and all I was asked was "Are have visited Hubei?" and that's about it. The fact that I could have come back from Italy, Iran or even China seems to be totally irrelevant ....

So let's not ban anyone to get in our country to make sure we don't hurt any feeling, after all what's worst that could happen

It's a shame to be so stupid, including the ones who voted for them...

The Rebel was reporting that awhile ago... fortunately atleast one of the ones interviewed from Iran was self guarantining himself from family etc. I posted this earlier.

As for "intelligence" of our gov't, well that sentiment has been repeated in this thread a few times.... and the fact upset atleast one... and when asked what the gov't was doing he shut up. Just like Stalin, Mao, Castro, Capone... they have their supporters.

On the subject of reported infected numbers, I really wonder what the actual true number is. Is it one in 5, 10 or higher. I'm sure there are undiagnosed that for no fault of their own may think they have the common cold or flu and are wandering around infecting more.

A great chart comparing all the deadliest flus. At the beginning you can see how fast it jump up. It's going to be the same here in Ontario

The Spanish flu really did some damage but I have watched documentarys about it before. They say back in that time the medicine and health care system is only a fraction of what it is now. And with the same Spanish flu in this day and age would have killed far less.
