Definitely agree about the hype, but I am admittedly more concerned about the virus now than I was a month ago. More for the sake of my parents (over 65) and everyone else in that age group. Also concerned about the worldwide panic that's sure to go hand in hand with the hype.

That's what the media does , gotta build the hype so people will watch and listen. It's like click bait they only want your attention, boring stuff doesn't draw in the attention lol.

Bone crunching high speed chases will always draw the attention before a little fender bender. No hype no news lol.

As are many folks, including myself and my wife. People better start to wake up and realize this is not a game. If anyone hasn't got themselves ready for self isolation yet, they would be wise to get busy now.

I just shake my head with people hoarding butt wipe. I was at Costco the other day and couldn't believe what I was seeing. It makes perfect sense to stockpile dry and canned goods in case we need to stay home for a week or two and keep some extra cash on hand and vehicles fully fueled,too,but,FFS...toilet paper? It was just NUTS!
If a tree falls on your ex in the woods and nobody hears it,you should probably still get rid of your chainsaw. Just sayin'....

We got final touches done this morning. Just saw a photo of the same store with a line up to back of the building yikes. Lots of empty spots from shortages but there is no shortage of preserved food lol. We didnt much.

We are the same as most it's not us we have to worry about, it's our elders we need to worry about.
    Look out boomers.

I'm going to isolate on simcoe Saturday and Monday maybe Tuesday with some friends for a last hurrah on the ice this season. . Cant miss the closer or last ice jumbos.

Yup. But some people refuse to think they need to prepare for anything. We are stocked up with dry and canned goods, but I get the sense that most are not.

Not from 2 pics I seen tonight in york region. Zeyhers in keswick apparently had a huge line. Also no frills in sutton horrible lines took one guy almost an hour and a half to check out . Not good feel sorry for some not planning and runs out of the simple basics. They already live hard to eat prioritizes I guess.

I know several relatives and some friends who are laughing and mocking it all. If it comes to it, they won't get a morsel from my stock!
My wife is a secretary at a high school and the news of school closures was welcome. We plan to just hang out at camp and get the sap bush going and boil down some syrup.
