Wow, that is one dark trout. Lingtrout lol.

Glad it worked out, I'm smelling like a skunks butt today!

How is it one careless cigarette can cause a forest fire, but it takes a whole box of matches to light a campfire?

Seeing those small little lakers makes me want a few when I head north in April.
Never kept one from simcoe as they are usually to big lol. Love the little northern ones though.

Good going keep up the good work [emoji106]

Well closing weekend for natural Lake Trout. A month sure goes by quickly. Left at 6 am this morning, -25 got to my spot by 9. Caught a 18” first thing then had another bite by 2 and pulled out a 21”. -5 this afternoon, beautiful day. Well, will have to wait a year to get back on this lake.

Brr nice going minus 25 that's nippy out . Your probably around the same line as my mom. Still cold there she is in larder and no warmth yet lol.
I'll be surprised if simcoe is good next weekend but who knows.

Great way to finish off the season, always a sad day when you have to wait till the following year for another day on the lake.

Keep up the great work hopefully you can go chase some walleye or something else while you will have ice for a while still.

A rewarding trip, looks great. You were tougher than I was this morning. Even the kid looked outside and flopped a pillow over her head as if to say "get real "
