Default Real as it gets - Postive COVID Test

My wife, daughter and grand daughter (who both live with us). Just got positive diagnosis for COVID. No point hiding at the cottage now. They all became sick last Wednesday. Grand daughter who is 3 seems like she has a mild cold and it is hardly slowing her down at all. My daughter who is mid 20s has like a moderate case of the flu but the classic COVID symptoms. Wife who is early 50s has like a really bad flu but with classic COVID symptoms.

After 8 days of living in the same house as all 3 and sleeping in the same bed as my wife i still have no symptoms so i am likely an asymptomatic carrier.

We have all been self isolating since last Wednesday and fortunately most of my job is maintenance at unmanned stations. We have enough food supplies and fuel for 6 months so no worries in that regard. Have not been tested and they will not test me at this point.

Likely brought home by my daughter who is a nurse (because she is a nurse is probably the only reason they got tested).

My girls both work in London at the hospitals and my wife works at a nursing home. So I figure it's only a matter of time

How is it one careless cigarette can cause a forest fire, but it takes a whole box of matches to light a campfire?

Real as it gets indeed. Very sobering news. Take care of yourself and look after your family. Should be an eye opener for many.

Couple of confirmed cases here in Peterborough. 2nd case positive today, close contact with the 1st. The 1st case was sick from March 1st until he was tested on the 12th, but in close contact with a dozen or so people during that time. Only a matter of time before that takes off like wildfire.

Please take care and drink plenty of fluids and avoid drugs like Advil, Aleve, Motrin.....Tylenol is recommended if you need for pain.

Best of luck...two daughters should be fine, wife needs the love. Once it's gone you all shoud be immunized according to some of the latest reports.
Take the warning labels off. Darwin will solve the problem.

Wishing your family a speedy recovery. They wont test me, but have pneumonia and it feels like the worst chest/lung infection I've ever had. My wife and kids are at the cottage, I am at home. Hoping it passes as quick as it came.
