    Default What's your hunting rig?

    Just curious.
What hunting rig does everyone use?
I like my feet when ever I can, but my ankle problems have sure slowed me down the past few years.
I have a 8x8 argo I use to get me and all my gear into my cabin. Once I'm there though, I don't use it for anything other than firewood and things like that. I still like to walk when I can.

    Bear is either this:

    Or:

    Or sometimes this:

Deer, turkey and small game is on foot unless it gets hairy than it is:

Thanks for starting something actually hunting related. Nice to distract from the real world for a bit.

The wilderness is not a stadium where I satisfy my ambition to achieve, it is the cathedral where I worship.

90% of my hunting is on foot, there just something about sneaking your way through the woods in search of quarry.

If I need to get way back, my old ATV still carries me. She ain't pretty but she goes. We call her the chubby one, fun as heck but your friends will laugh if they see you on her.

How is it one careless cigarette can cause a forest fire, but it takes a whole box of matches to light a campfire?
