Yep sad they keep saying they will up the testing but they never do. The death rates to positive should say something they are still only testing who they want. If your part of the 20 percent that show little symptoms you will not be tested. It doesn't make any sense. Unless they are controlling the numbers they want to see.

Lots of reports coming from South Korea but I'm hearing it could been the test that were bad. Lots of faulty tests were going around.

The number in critical just keeps edging up and that is the number that will tell the future in the deaths.

Alot of masks and test kits where sh** and rejected. Apparently Toronto ordered a bunch and had to recall them, then we have people not wearing masks, our WHO/China serving health minister spewing lies over and over...

Taiwan's numbers make me wonder where ours would had they acted in January, I wonder what it would be IF they had put in airport screening, IF they had put in travel restrictions, IF they had not sent masks and equipment to China, if they asked people to wear masks and not put out such nonsense, and put in quarantines.... I also with they actually bought the equipment they said they would a month ago....

Looking at the refugees coming and going without masks and the fact the staff called the police.... guess they hate people knowing that the people on a boardwalk will get a ticket but not the staff and refugees at a place known to have Wuhan Pneumonia.... 11 members and 12 staff are known to have it yet others can come and go and according to the one woman they aren't given the protection. Looks like no regard for those working there and the refugees safety at all... hope someone knows a lawyer!

Tin hat time.... in August of last year, since that same Lab in Wuhan keeps coming up in conspiracies.

    Lots “if’s” eh Mosquito?
    Coulda, shoulda, woulda?

Drives me nuts reading facebook somedays. So many people, quasi, blithely going about their lives, not furious. Like they are living in some kind of dream everyone will wake up from. Even now, today, while the heat on the WHO is turning up (rightfully so). Maybe Im just too cynical, but its beginning to sound like a ton of damage control, and the WHO is going to be the patsy, scapegoat......

Odd that countries we often think little of, be they Taiwan, New Zealand, our making our “country” look stupid.

there are those that reference the Spanish flu. But that was a different world. Many lived in squalor, hygiene was not what it is today. Medicine was not what it is today. They didn’t even have testing back then. If this were 1918, it would be far far worse.

I read an article the other day that helped put it in some perspective for me. Numbers are US. And from memory.

    Projected Covid deaths. 100-250,k

    Spanish flu: 700k
    Civil war: 215k
    WWII: 290k
    WWWi: 53k
    Vietnam: 47k
    Korean War: 33k

    Annual flu: 55k
    Covid to date: 34k

In the span of 4-6,months it’s going to kill what wars took years to do. Not sure how that’s not devestating in anyone’s book.

Found out today, my Aunt thats in an LTC is positive.
Hope your Aunt will be all right

Thanks JM, but highly unlikely. The LTC blew up early this week ( it’s been in the news the past couple days). My cousins have been there every day in their cars for 8-10hours, hoping at first she wouldn’t get it and posting to FB. I get it, but I don’t. Fact is, my daughter was in the same boat. You can’t save them, because the risk to everyone else is too high. Your a passenger on a train that’s derailing.

Nothing they can do will change anything, and it’s not like they can see her, speak to one another. I guess kinda like holding vigils.
Yesterday, there was a steady stream of ambulances and fire trucks.

    It is what it is.

There are pockets of those that have been exposed and caught it more and more and it will continue. Our useless PM keep saying we will have this and that within the month.... for about a month now. Canada's numbers keep going up and the number of critical never drops...

    https://www.worldometers.info/corona...=homeAdvegas1?

    Coronavirus Cases:
    2,206,676

    Deaths:
    148,663

    56,482 (4%)
    Serious or Critical

When you watch what the WHO and China and how they reacted to Taiwan's success, the lies directly repeated from China etc... WHO is complicit in this train wreck in my view. The Rebel video above has part of the interview where the WHO rep when asked about Taiwan, well they just hung up. When asked again they talked about China and how great it was ....it would make a good scene for Orwell's 1984 or on China's media. I was in China just before the Olympics and they had CNN in the hotels... funny how it would go black for 3 or 4 minutes every so often, once I heard the word "Tibet" just before it went black .... China is a dictatorship run by people that had no issue with sending tanks to run over students and other crimes against humanity. They are building their military and keeping their people happy by selling us sh** (masks included) but instead of Chamberlain and the National Socialists we have Trudeau and the Chinese Communists the way it is going.

... and CSIS in the past has talked about China controlling Canadian politicians, I am always surprised when CBC shows integrity.

    Way, way to many IF's...
IF the Liberal's had listened to the Canadian military, the US and other countries
IF the they hadn't thrown away and not restocked tons of equipment
IF they hadn't send 16 tons of equipment to China
IF they had started screening at the airport and put in travel restrictions etc.
IF Canadian's hadn't been lied to so many times.
.... IF Canadian's learn from this.
.... IF Canadian's show the responsibility the gov't hasn't and wear masks and stay at home or keep a safe distance....

Justin just keeps getting screwed by the Chinese government. Why would the planes even come back empty why not stay in the area a day or two and bring back supplies.

I wonder, every day ... is this Justin TruDOPES problem or is it the Canadian people who voted for him? Who should we be disappointing with them most? Better yet, what should we expect in the next election? The same Canadians voting for a corrupt, negligent, inept leader?? What kind of people are voting for this guy, and why are they willing to accept this (poor) level of standard ... it's like straight up eating dog crap, in spite of being able to have vegetables (healthy food). They don't want vegetables ... they want meat ... but they get crap.
