Yeah it’s really too bad. I was booked and looking forward to it again this year, but I could kind of see this coming given the uncertainty over the next several months.

Just about doubled in 6 days. It took all of March and 9 days to get to 510, about 40 days and now we have the same number of deaths in 6 days.

If this decision was related to the need to order birds well in advance of the fall and the uncertainty regarding the hunt, I hope programs like Tiny Marsh, Conestoga, Hullett and Norfolk don’t follow suit and cancel this fall.

Very likely. The suppliers won’t want to gamble on producing a crop they can’t sell.

My girlfriend and I are both disappointed about this decision as it was going to be our first time to the island. I do understand that Pelee had to do what was best for them, oh well hopefully next year
