That doesn't fit Trudeau's agenda and why he's backed off using it as an example to tighten Gun Control measures.
This actually is a good example to support what has always been said..the problem is illegal gun crossing the border.
Unless of course the Canadian sourced gun did all the damage?

It doesn't matter....they've said he did NOT have a PAL or RPAL...so he was illegally in possession of a gun, which doesn't fall within the tighter 'Gun Control' measures of Bill C-71.

They won’t release the facts if it hurts their agenda. Trudough is a grave dancer as is Wendy Kookier.

Since gun controls still allowed a madman to massacre innocent people they will move to disarm all the licensed gun owners. At which point only criminals will have guns. Then the budget will balance itself.

Sad to say but there is nothing that 'tighter gun controls' could have done to prevent that massacre - nothing. But that will not stop Billy Blair from using that as a soap box.

Same old echo chamber guys. We are mostly preaching to each other and the only debates are with other members who are mostly participating for their own entertainment.
If every gun owner cared enough to keep their firearms, we’d have a well-funded advocacy group to represent our interests.
Before I get jumped on, this does not mean I am pushing for an NRA style of politics here. They’ve gone too far. But I am suggesting that a well-funded group with wide ranging membership across Canada would do wonders for us.

CCFR is definitely the organization to join if that's your intention. CSSA is good, too. They're the only ones with a common sense approach. The rest are more "regional" than national.

I'm tending to agree...their recent work to uncover the lies and incompetence of Bill Blair alone are worthy of using them as our spokesman. Your right they seem to be more National in their approach...which is what we need being only 5 million strong, spread from coast to coast.

I'm only a member of the OFAH but I have always wondered why all the various organizations don't pool their money and resources to fight the government on firearms issues.

The half dozen of you that are on here daily pushing for gun right's can form your own wee group and bash on for the rights of the weekend warriors and their Ar 15,s. In the meantime I will just continue hunting with the same guns I have used for the past 40 years undeterred by the government.
