Tick Control 2020?
Given all the time at home, my Brittany has been out more than usual this spring. It also got warmer earlier this year than last, But she has come in with multiple ticks the last 1.5 + weeks, more than ever before. Some have been fully attached.
She is currently on NexGard Spectra. Never found ticks attached when she was on separate heart worm and tick meds (was on HeartGaurd Plus and Revolution or Advantix II for ticks in earlier seasons.)
Just wondering what you are using for tick control this year?

Advantix II. Works about 99%.

I use Zodiac Power Band 2 collars on the setters. Works well, is good for up to 6 months, and is available over the counter.

Since the winters are so warm now I use Nexguard almost all year(fleas and ticks). Then when the mosquitoes arrive too, I use Spectrum ( fleas, ticks, heartworm protection (mosquitoes) and worm control.

We used to use Advantix II until my one dog had a nasty allergic reaction to it. Switched her to Bravecto. All our dogs spend so much time in the water that Bravecto made more sense, so switched them all over.

Nexgard. No ticks or fleas. Used to use Advantix but it’s messy. The dogs think the Nexgard is a treat.
I’m suspicious of people who don't like dogs, but I trust a dog who doesn't like a person.
