Thank goodness we have a fantastic Prime Minister that is getting the job done as apposed to an opposition Conservative party in complete disarray, with a gutless leader. They cannot even get their act together to choose a new leader and the one they have apparently chosen will be effectively neutered on this gun issue because if he opposes it will get run over by the folk's in Nova Scotia and across the country. LOL
Nice dodge on the truth of how much safer the public was considering the shooter was already banned from guns.
If you think Trudeau is a fantastic PM, that explains enough

Not so in the big smoke. How long of sentences are gangsters given for illegal possession. Many get nothing. It's the liberal way of feeling sorry for thugs

Yet your beloved Liberals removed a Law that would do just that..

It was a good deterrent for them to know they were going to get a 3 yr minimum sentence.

    Mikepal once again writes

"But they can waste large amounts of money on unnecessary gun buy back programs..."

Yes Michael the gun owners are happy to take the government money from the, many on here boasting they did well from the deal and went out and got new guns, they did not refuse the cash, did they? Sounds like a win ,win situation, everybody is happy, win the next election.

I have also noted the fiscally Conservative folks no longer lambast the Liberals for the billions of dollars being spent at this time, they all managed to get to the trough at the same time.

How convenient to try and keep that promise at a time when the worst rampage in Canadian history just took place. I bet the liberals are dancing on graves as we speak.

He also burned them alive but lets not talk about that......no its only ever the guns fault. If your friend Billy liar is the cop you propose he is then why doesn't he talk about stopping guns coming in from the USA? Maybe you should sit him down with a bottle of scotch and discuss how they can do that.

Well Judges are appointed by governments of the day, this would suggest that you believe there have been no Conservative appointed Judges in the last couple of decades.I think we can gong you on that one.
Most cases are dealt with by a plea bargain worked out by the defense and Crown Attorney way before a Judge gets to say anything. So now I guess your next allegation is that all Crown Attorney's are Liberal.

If your refereeing to the GTA buyback..different kettle of fish, and another dismal failure that cost the GTA money they could have used elewhere.

So get back to your musing that we would be better protect if illegal gun owners went to jail...why are you supporting a party that did the exact opposite ?

Apparently it was not a good deterrent as gun crime simply kept escalating, are you not the same guy that say's laws do not stop criminals. You really need to make up your mind on this.

Bill knows that the measures he's about to back will do nothing, the Police chiefs across the country have told him so and won't support the measures that are going to be implemented. Talking with the CCFR on video, he was red faced embarrassed that he was caught in a lie about the truth.
