No more than a Conservative Government was able to do so in the past, oh wait a minute they actually made it easier by abolishing the long gun registry and easing other gun restrictions brought in by Liberal governments in the past.So basically just added to the problem. But its ok
we will try and sort it out once and for all.Unfortunately the Conservatives will play with your emotions again to get your votes and undo the good work of the Liberals.Shame.

In 1982, Saskatoon police shot 18-year-old hostage-taker Richard Landrie after a lengthy standoff. Landrie was dressed in battle fatigues and armed with an AR-15. He fired 50 rounds during the standoff, shooting off one of his hostage’s fingers.

Media reports also indicate that AR-15s have been seized in several drug raids, taken from alleged bank robbers in British Columbia, involved in a 2009 murder and employed in the 2004 drive-by shooting of Louise Russo in suburban Toronto as she waited in line to buy a sandwich for her daughter.

I just post the fact's and include links and all,but apparently the other side just posts stories from know FAKE NEWS SOURCES.Next.

Many newspapers and MPs also demanded action. Jean-Pierre Blackburn, a Progressive Conservative Quebec MP, asked:
Why are weapons of this kind allowed in Canada? Why do we let people own such dangerous and destructive weapons? That doesn’t make sense. Protecting the public and public safety should be our prime concern.

    Awaiting your reply LOL

Gilroy are criminals breaking the law when they have illegal guns will these laws force criminals to hand in their guns?

You do realize that an Ar 15 is no more powerful then any other 223 semi auto (I hope you know this because if you don't you should not be allowed to own any guns whatsoever.)

Lifetime firearms ban for violent and gang criminals
Gun laws need to target criminals, not law-abiding gun owners. Individuals who have demonstrated serious violent behaviour or have been involved in gang activity have forfeited the right to ever be trusted to own a firearm. A Conservative government led by Andrew Scheer will make lifetime firearms bans mandatory for all serious personal injury offences and gang crimes.

Were're OK lads Andrew is coming to the rescue of the Canadian public he is going to give Lifetime Firearm's bans for career criminals. LOL
