"You know I have thought of dropping down your way but to be honest I would not, knowing how anti gun you are by your comments, I could not do that in good faith to myself"

That's OK buddy I will just do some trap shooting with the family.

Now I think you forgot to reply about Andrew Scheer's brilliant proposal to ban criminals and gang bangers from having firearms by enacting a LIFETIME gun ban.LOL

So sorry for breaking your fake post that has now been discredited along with yourself, pretty sad reflection on the gun lobby that they measure mass shootings as a standard. No evidence the fallen officer was armed with an AR.

Took me about 2 seconds on the net to dispel this fake news

In 1982, Saskatoon police shot 18-year-old hostage-taker Richard Landrie after a lengthy standoff. Landrie was dressed in battle fatigues and armed with an AR-15. He fired 50 rounds during the standoff, shooting off one of his hostage’s fingers.

Media reports also indicate that AR-15s have been seized in several drug raids, taken from alleged bank robbers in British Columbia, involved in a 2009 murder and employed in the 2004 drive-by shooting of Louise Russo in suburban Toronto as she waited in line to buy a sandwich for her daughter.

It wasn't an AR, it was a C8 "It was adopted by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police as a standard-issue patrol carbine. "

A good portion of the country unemployed. businesses closing left and right, a health care system on the brink, retirement incomes gutted, facing a depression era outlook and this imbecile is focusing his attention on taking guns from law abiding citizens! Nova Scotia was a terrible tragedy and we all need to understand what can be done to help prevent this from ever happening again but even suggesting spending money and resources on a gun ban at this point in time is embarrassing and a slap in the face to all Canadians.

Yeah that's what I thought too

It's why I mentioned to gilroy a hundred post up that he has 3 years still.
To rush it through seems silly.
But a promise is a promise one that couldn't wait a bit before the next one happens. Oh I will say in another 50 days or so we will have another incident ,will it make history probably not but there will be something that will happen always does. Then there will be another excuse of why it happened something else to complain about of who killed who and for why. It a cycle that will continue on nothing will change.

We know bans don’t work. Not for anything, not alcohol back in the day, not opioids or fetynol. Whether its Scheer, Tory or Blair or Trudeau, promoting one as a measure. Can’t fix stupid.

I have some left wing friends on FB, who would get behind the calls for Bans, scream to ban them everytime there was a mass shooting in the US. The one arguement I will use and it seems to help them with critical thinking, is the fact drunk driving ( likewise illegal and banned), kills 5x more Canadians each year than guns do. Whether suicide, domestic violence, gang bangers. That is a hard fact. Should we ban alcohol once again? Guns have legitimate uses ( hunting, putting food on the table). Alcohol? Not one legitimate use......A few of them have come around, no scream to ban guns...

Two days ago, some of the same friends started sharing the news that Marco Muzzo ( right name??). Was out on parole in four years, after killing 3 kids and their grandfather. By definition, a mass killing....They were screaming bloody blue murder about how soft our justice system is. As of last night, and the news the village idiot is pushing through a ban, during Covid when theres no debate, two more pretty far left friends are coming around.......

I’ve commented that my daughters friend, was gunned down in 2016 by a known to police, low life dealer. Why was he one the street to begin with. They knew he was dealing..... The crown dropped all weapons related charges in exchange for a guilty plea to manslaughter. Between that and parole the pos was back on the streets in 1 year. This has resulted in another friend yesterday, asking questions......

Our soft justice system Gilroy? Curtesy of Liberal idealogy and left wing bleeding hearts. Like it or not, LEO is part of that system.....”just saying”

And with respect to smuggling, be it the gun trade from the US, or drug trade. Whose responsibility and thus failing is that? Leo and our justice system. “just saying”.

And with specific respect to Bill Blair. Who was Torontos top cop, under who guns and gangs, the drug and gun trade grew and grew....Is it fair to say he is responsible and inept? Yes it is...And as the minister in charge of public safety, guns and gangs, the border...Again, failing grades....Maybe he should worry more about doing his job......and the “justice system”????

Put the bullseye where it belongs, is something I was taught early in my career, and is something I have long beleived in as a result. The rest is just noise. In this case blue noise.

and as the quote goes " I learned long ago, never to wrestle with a pig. You get dirty, and besides, the pig likes it."

Public Service Announcement: Please stop feeding Trolls...
