How do you feel when your PM tells our country nobody needs an AR-15 to take down a deer. And in another breath he tells our country, FN's can keep their AR-15's because they need them to hunt with. Treaty rights aside, how do you support a PM that feeds that kind of BS to his country? IMO it's offensive, pure discrimination and will only cause more divide and to some more hatred towards FN's.

They are not part of the hand gun ban.
It's up to the municipalities to ban them they would never even think about taking the guns away[emoji51].
They over power the municipalities [emoji1787][emoji1787] and and piss on our federal government lol.

I think the Premiers of the province have to give it the go ahead for the Municipalities to institute the ban...doesn't sound like Ford will go along with this

Ford wants real jail time for those who use guns for criminal purpose. It's just common sense, something the bleeding hearts cant seem to grasp. What a cowardly act for any municipality to pass such a by-law. I also dont believe any municipality should have the power to do so.

I think Liberals are OK that Criminals have guns or else they would go after them. The Liberals on here have insinuated they think lawful owners should lose their guns.

(http://www.gazette.gc.ca/rp-pr/p2/20...hRwPSHcri8Ng):
In addition, 1.3 million Canadians participate in legal hunting. These owners may also be affected if they have been using a newly prohibited firearm that was previously nonrestricted.
If they have been using such a firearm for sustenance hunting or to exercise a right affirmed in section 35 of the Constitution, they may continue to use their firearm for the same purpose, until the end of the amnesty period.
Hunting contributes an estimated $4.1 billion to Canada’s GDP as well as $2 billion in labour income, and supports about 33 313 full-time equivalent jobs.
Thoughts on middle paragraph

I believe that is for FN only as they are not affected by the ban. Trudeau has now stated racism is OK.

Your first sentence is where the minimum sentence should take effect. To many people getting caught with illegal firearms but if you it in crime it should be an automatic sentence. I kinka get it they cant lock everyone for 5 years for simply having an illegal firearm. When it's used in a crime it should be a minimum no exceptions. Lots of places in the states have it caught with a gun or drugs it's not to bad combined they are a bigg no no and will come with a minimum sentence.
Here you get nothing for having a gun while dealing your drugs you get off easy. Here in Canada you get more time now for trafficking fentanyl than a manslaughter charge. Alot of murder charges turn into a manslaughter so alot of these fentanyl dealers are doing more time that the murders on the streets.
