I think that was well said myself. You forgot though that he said he was gonna legalize pot..(which in my opinion he does to much of)..and got every young voter to put an X beside the liberal candidate. He is as useless as his old man was.

Catching up.
Buahwacker wins the last few pages for his post about about what the boots in the ground have to try and contend with.
That is on their brass, and the politicians. Bill Blair, and the Liberals.
In the post from an RCMP officer I copied. He talks about bail conditions, parole, carding. In it he argues (I don’t know if it’s entirely accurate) that shooting immediately went up 40 and 90% in the GTA..
We all know the border is worse than a sieve. Again, the brass and politicians....
As for the election stuff. Likely better off for another board. Will just say. Too early to see which way the winds are blowing. If I had to bet my house, I suspect JT is out.
They took a beating over SNC, prosecutorial independence. Democracy stuff. This gun crap could go either way. People, that I know aren’t fans of guns are coming around.
Wedge issue tend to do that. That’s why politicians don’t like to touch them...
He’s alienated the west and people are slowly starting to wake up to that. He’s pulled this stunt during Covid. And he’s dropped the ball on Covid. And people are beginning to feel the financial pain. What’s his fiscal record like?
Sure many still don’t see them or him for what he/they are. There are right wing voters who are no different.
The middle?
Federal politics are not quite the same beast Ontarios politics are. Here, the GTA and Unions rule. That influence is mitigated federally. Lol, jeez people have we all forgotten Harper had a hammerlock for 3 terms? He to was a no-body, came out of nowhere.... That’s almost unheard of for either party. But all parties/leaders get long in the tooth and people want change.
Jesus the entire country isn’t the GTA/Ontario dynamic or head in the sand see no evil Liberals. Sure, it’s still counts way, way too much than it should. But....

The Shootings went way up 40 to 90 percent after rob ford was booted. Shootings were relatively stable or down a bit when he was around. He also wasn't afraid of the bangers either "respect ".

This is according to that RCMP officer
Secondly, the liberals banned carding and severely limited police powers to be proactive against gangs. The result was a 48% increase in shootings and a 98% increase in the number of people shot in the GTA.
I don’t recall what time frame that was. And I don’t remember a year where the shootings in the GTA doubled in a year.
I do remember the boots on the ground complaining. I do remember the left and communities blaming police for racist policies. Aka the debates in the media.
It always made sense to me. both sides did. A damned if you do, damned if you don’t dilemma.

When your grandkids cant afford squat and are held accountable for our pile of national debt, remind them that at least they can smoke weed while they spend decades paying back the debt that people like yourself voted for. Funny how that works out as well.

I have made sure I have lots of insurance on my head when I am gone and taxes are much to high my kids will be well taken care of
and can give the middle finger to those who voted for high taxes.
Unlike most Liberals believe someone has to pay for this debt.
