Totally agree - people were ok with him driving around delivering masks, he makes a stop to check on his cottage and now the complaints come in...

I haven’t read about it in the Kawartha. Did see something where residents in the Muskokas started public shaming cottagers on social media. The usual crap. Take pictures, start spreading it around.

small town Ontario is pretty POd. It is beyond possible someone saw Ford at his property, lights on. Or maybe he stopped for a coffee. And.....

The problem for Ford.
Is he believable? People that wealthy tend to have other people they use for such mundane task as checking property.

It’s not quite as bad as JTs lack of leadership. JT spent the Friday telling people, that they couldn’t go, that they would have to skype, and virtue signalling.

Fords stepped up. Good behaviour does not excuse poor behaviour/judgement. It does help though. JTs over all handling of the crises? I’d give Ford a B+, JT a C at best, a generous best.

No law your right, But all these nimrods (Mayor, Premier and Prime Minister do daily press conferences, Telling people to stay home, Get irate when people dont, Call them yahoos, Then in the next breath, Stand beside a bunch of healthcare workers to get their picture taken on the street, Or heads north to go to their cottage. Stuff all us normal people aren't suppost to do.

lol, cant say I blame them.
If someone stops me from going to my cottage, they better have a fat discount on my tax bill to keep me away.
Luckily my cottage is in the same city limit my house is in.

At this moment I’m in the parking lot of our general store. Waiting for it to empty before going in. It’s 5:30 pm on Friday. There 6 other cars in the lot. One is definitely from out of town. Any other day of the week. The lots empty. Maybe 1 car. They are coming out with staples, beer. I’ll wait, not the end of the world. And this is Ford fault, he doesn’t have the balls. Oops I’ll wait longer. 3 more just pulled in.

I read yesterday, a daycare in Quebec. 16 toddlers... the longer this has gone on, there more they’ve learned. It’s does permanent damage to organs. Blah blah blah.

Sometimes I chuckle. Depending on the topic, liberals are slammed for traits ( elitism). Or the 1%. For getting rich and keeping too much. After all, we paid for the infrastructure....isn’t that what Obama said? The next, something else is argued.

I agree ford has stepped up his game. But it was not his first misstep, he told everyone to go south and have fun during March break, after everyone else, said not to. He got much smarter after the backlash came in.

Cochrane District, we just got another 2". Winter doesn't want to end. Hopefully go in with sled and come out with ATV. Two weekends ago I tried that and buried bike in snow 2 times. Worked my azz off. lol
