Covid. Scary new development.
A couple days ago, we learned that 16 toddlers have become very ill at a Quebec daycare. Now this.
Hindsight is always 20/20.
The longer this has gone on, the more we’ve learned ( like permanent damage to organs).
low risk”
yeah right. Any idiot knew by the end of February it was anything but. Especially when you don’t know much. The less you know, the higher the risk...
It’s a crying shame, our officials and even us, didn’t follow sage advice.
Prepare for the worst, hope for the best.

What advice?
If your talking about wuhan containing it was already spread before they even reported the first case. Back testing has confirmed that France has confirmed cases before wuhan had ever spoke publicly about it In mid December.
Before it was even a problem in Europe
Switzerland is not back tracking test but says people were showing symptoms in November.
If you are talking about shutting down sooner that theory is out the window now. The spead was done way before the public was aware of the problem world wide before it was discovered.
Wonder If they used a live virus during their exercise of a world pandemic back in October that leaked out who knows.

What advice? I said it.
"Prepare for the worst, hope for the best"
Cliches and adages stand the test of time for reasons. And no-one can make the case, not remotely well, we prepared for the worst....Especially given, we knew virtually nothing...only that it was "new", never seen before....We had no idea how it was transmitted, no idea what kind of damage it might do. Many in fact argued and still argue "its just the Flu"...
Its never too late to "close barn doors" Fishfood.Would you argue, in the event of an out of control fire, we shouldn't turn off the gas?

Aww I see now lol.
I turn off the gas lol. Haha just a funny story of when my 25 pound propane tank caught fire in the fish hut lol. Yeah I know the tanks supposed to be out side. Way back on cooks had the tank in the hut about 2 ft away from the burner all of a sudden I smelled some propane a second later it it ignited. I jumped up and ran away then I decided something had to be done so I stuck back up to and shut the gas off lol.
The o ring went it and leaked out fast almost chat my pants that was the last time left the tank inside lol.
Another fire I put out was a romantic night in the bed if you know what I mean lol. All of a sudden I was on fire literally lol. The blanket must of touched a candle I didn't notice as it was behind me when I went to put it out the melted blanket hit my leg and left a perfect inital scar in the shape of a T on the back of my leg
The beginning letter of both of us TnT. It's a permanent scar never slowed me down tho just kept on truckin [emoji1787][emoji1787][emoji2957][emoji4][emoji16][emoji854]
I Never run from a burning fire lol.

Lol.
I have a gut feeling, just a gut feeling we aren’t halfway through this. Every month, something else is learned. And we should expect a 2nd wave. Hopefully not or if so, it’s very muted.

There is so much about this virus being kept secret by the Chinese and WHO that prevention was way too late, the infection was already widespread. If after time it’s revealed governments knew ahead of time then heads should roll and they likely will.
I’m suspicious of people who don't like dogs, but I trust a dog who doesn't like a person.

Someone, likely someone high up, leaked the fact our military intelligence was updating the Feds in January.
Do note. Not CSIS, an intelligence unit within the AF.
I am not a conspiracy theorist. Nor do I think there’s anything to them. We have intelligence arms within all levels of law enforcement. So I wouldn’t read too much into the military being involved. But the leak, came from the AF.
I’m betting, guessing, whatever you want to it. The dust won’t settle for a yaear/18 months.
And yep, heads should roll. JTs being one.

The Liberal's don't seem to think they are enemies...

Taiwan seems to be one of the first countries to take action against the virus and you can guarantee they know what China is like
Back on topic... I have seen from a few sources now that the Wuhan Pneumonia causes immune reactions in a high number of cases (like Rhumotoid arthritis - Hydroxychloroquin is used for it) so if the first disease has something to do with the immune system it could be a huge disaster. I have a cousin with MS and he has been told he is on the extreme high risk category even though he is only in his 40s.
