I don’t know about Lewis guys. She is certainly well educated but does she have enough LIFE experience ?
I see many degrees and she is not all that old, has she spent enough time in the REAL WORLD ?
Granted, she doesn’t need to have much real world experience to exceed our current PM.

Black, Female, Conservative....she's already won :-)
Canadian have already shown us, you don't get elected based on merits....

For many people a leaders stance on abortion is very important. More important than guns for a lot of voters.

Of course, it's a more important topic.

Many on here would disagree. They choose to ignore that elephant in the room. Their guns are more important than a woman having control of her own body.

Being black and female is not a clear win. We also need a leader that will have the guts to make change and not just a face.

Here's what I'm saying... being black will appeal more to other black folks and possibly more immigrants. Being a female will appeal to other females. Being conservative will have already gotten her the conservative populations vote.
Trudeau got in on being a D list Canadian celebrity, looking pretty and promising weed. Most Canadians do not follow politics or even consider what each party stands for so they are going to vote based on optics and in this case, Leslyn is an optical winner....

I don't agree with this statement. I love and care about my guns too, but reasonable people will not put decisions about guns in the top 5 most important topics concerning Canada. What is understood is that by getting a conservative gov't elected, our rights as gun owners will no longer be in jeopardy.....

I wonder what the demographics for each party are? I know some ignorant people who would never vote for a woman or a minority, to lead our country. For those people, she is a double strike.
