Late season and good weather this week. Plan?
Great weather coming this week. What are your plans? What’s worked in years passed for you? Are you back at it early morning?

The mosquitoes were just starting when I was out this morning. I had a nice mixed flock in the adjoining field and then they came into my field. 4 Toms, 4 jakes and some hens. I moved my blind to the fence line between the fields. I’ll be out there bright and early with my strutted Jake and a hen tomorrow morning.
I watched the flock for over an hour and the Toms were challenging each other and aggressively strutting. I think they are liking this warm weather.

Probably could start to forget about the blind. Things should be greening up nicely making for better natural concealment. Always prefer getting out of the blind when possible. Always hard to reconcile going indoors when getting outdoors. In any case good luck tomorrow.

I agree that they are liking the weather, on way home yest we saw several Toms and Jakes in same fields strutting actively.
Farmer near one of my best spots has been giving access to land he doesn’t own I found out today; so the birds were pressured hard over the weekend.
Trying again in am..
Good luck!

I enjoy the late season hunts. Just watch out for ticks and skitters!
