I had intended on signing up this year but time got away from me! I've signed up in years past and hardly got out to hunt. Lesson learned!

Finally pulled the trigger. Had this guy and his little brother at 60 and 100 yards this morning. Unfortunately their three hens were at 15 and knew something was up. They raised enough stink to keep the Toms away. Came home to run a couple errands and fill my guts. Was set up again 12:45 after spotting him from the road. A few helps and he and a hen made there way in. Pulled the trigger at 1:37. I love afternoon hunts!

Very. Close. Maybe 5- 7 yards.

I did not have a full choke and he came through my cover to my right. I am a lefty so it worked. He had to move into a small gap in the cover until I could shoot
