When I saw the apples I knew you had to be a southerner. Hope they take. Did you move them to enhance wildlife options or just aesthetics?

I moved a couple apple trees
Moved them just for the deer
Didn’t even leave seat of backhoe

Nice trees looks like they are off too a good start. Keep 'em well watered in the summer months. It'll need a heavy prune I'd wait till there is a good bit of snow on the ground if you can. The cuttings will provide much needed browse for rabbits then and enhance apple production next spring. Nice thing about apples they are easy to graft. One tree can be grafted with several varieties which can give you apples that ripen over an extended period of time.
