Exclusive: Licence holders exceed 2.2 million for the first time

So I looked up Canadian Population age 18 and over and it's approx 15 million

So that means I think approx 14.6% have a PAL.

That's actually quite a bit of the voting population.

That is 2.2 million licensed, then there is the spouse, family members, friends.

What do you figure maybe three more non-licensed for each firearm owner.

The numbers start to get impressive.

Municipality of Central Elgin considering discharge of firearms by-law

Earlier this month, council in the Municipality of Central Elgin opened public consultation as they consider implementing a new discharge of firearms by-law.

According to the municipality's website, council has chosen to survey residents to determine "whether the discharge of firearms in or near built up areas should be restricted." Council plans to use the information obtained in the survey to inform its decision.

You can fill out the survey here.

The OFAH has reached out to the municipality to seek more information and will share any updates as we receive them. Stay tuned.

Just because they have a PAL does not mean they will vote Conservative. If any of them are public sector workers (silly servants) they will be voting Liberal or worse - NDP because that is who butters their bread for them. Unions stroke NDP/Liberals and the favor is returned - how it works.

Agreed 41.... I have hunting friends with Pals, who voted liberal, and they are not PS workers and to expect everyone with a Pal to vote con. is just ridiculous.
