PITA demonstrator run over by truck
This is very sad and very preventable. I see this all the time in Burlington - animal rights activists run in front of transport trucks or run to the side of the trucks carrying hogs that are being transported to the slaughter house when they stop at the traffic light.
Do these people understand that these trucks are in the 50,000lbs - 70,000lbs range and cannot stop like an automobile and need room to turn and maneuver.
They should not be anywhere NEAR a truck when they protest. I just feel sorry for the truck driver that now has to deal with all the crap after this accident.

Good job lady! Got yourself killed and most likely made the pigs "suffer" more in the truck before they gassed them all

Survival of the fittest, in this case the pigs were more fit! I must congratulate the moron who thought a semi wouldn't turn her to a chunk of bacon.

True. Feel sorry for what the driver and his family will have to endure. There are all kinds of videos of people with near misses at these illegal blockades. If you don't agree with eating meat then avoid it, don't interfere with others trying to make a living. Mess with the bull get the horns.

Just a horrible story all around .
Just because she liked the pigs more than bacon lol.
And to have some of the pigs sent to a sanctuary I'm her name wow. Some strong pig love going on with that group.
