That's correct. Regardless to who leads, support the political party you favor to run our country by voting for them.

i would like to see her win, I’m afraid she’s too much of a social conservative for this country that is basically 2/3 Center Left.
We need to elect someone that will pull Canada back in the center of the social spectrum and connect with urban Canadians. Like it or not that person will need to (1) take votes from Liberals in Toronto & (2) take votes from the Block in Quebec, all while NOT isolating Western Canada and rural communities. It is not going to be ab easy task.
I always vote along party lines because regardless of the charisma of the local representation you vote for when the mother ship says jump they will jump. Just remind yourself to look what happened when they voted for charisma - you got Mr. Fancy Socks.

Step 1 is the need to choose a leader who can beat True Dough. Nothing else matters. Wether that leader ticks off all the boxes is second to “can they win”. If they can’t win no point in choosing them. We got more actual votes than True Dough, but we need to get new ridings. That means pandering to the large urban centres who lean left. The maritimes will never dump the liberals, so we need Quebec and Ontario ridings.

You see what he did the next day? They could EASILY use that to demonstrate his real action to deal with the BLM issue. He sacrificed his position to support the cause. I don't think we can name one Liberal that has made a real sacrifice like that.
I'm almost wondering whether he hasn't resigned as a step towards the Conservative Leadership race.

Yep, not using your vote for the Conservatives in this election is a vote for the Liberals.

Why can't the Federal Conservatives get someone that is good, right now they all suck..... I have no confidence in any of them and can't get my passion behind them at all....
Who gets to pick these candidates? If the PC's want to win, they should really rethink the way they choose them..... Maybe if everyone got pissed about our choices, they might do a better job finding a good Canadian candidate........

I didn't actually see that, thanks for mentioning it. I'm happy to see somebody in the mainstream who can still stand on principle. I met his sister during her campaign and she personally installed my lawn sign with a photo op.
Maybe we will see something from him in the future. Although the cynic in me assumes he saw his expiry date coming with that position anyway so he took the opportunity.

You'd think after Scheer lost to our clown prime minister ... you'd think that was a shocking enough result.
Perhaps the party is too divided ... they are letting the small things get in the way of the bigger issues, and arguing over
immaterial issues ... while they sit and lose the vote. At some stage, people must put their pride aside and also ALL there
millions of great ideas and focus on the main cause, and move that forward as one unit. It means some people need to step
aside, some people need to drop some petty issue and deal with it later ... for the sake of the party, and more for the sake of this
nation.

Too many wants too much differences and too many voices.
