Remington 870 SPS

This is pretty much the same gun as the SPS....

870 hands down. I bought a wingmaster used in 76 and shot it for more years then I care to remember. it sits in the cabinet now, but still works and looks like it did in 76. I bought 2 535's for my boys and regretted that right from the start. the fail to load the second shot sometimes or the 3rd. When done hunting always have to really take a lot of care to make sure the mag is empty.

I have a 870 wingmaster in 16gauge. I would have been willing to sell it but without any gun shows might just hold it till see what future brings

I haven't used either so I'll leave that to the others, but what I would consider is what chokes are available or that you already have.

seems to be sooooo many chokes for both available. I dont goose or slug hunt so would be for Turkey only. This is the model i would like

I have a Mossberg 500, 535 and 935. I also have a Remington Model 870. I like them all, never had any problems with any of them. I do prefer a tang safety though.

This is the 870 dedicated turkey gun I got 2 years ago. Put a bushnell trophy 1.5-4x32 with circle plex reticle. Love that reticle for turkey hunting. Congrats on the new gun.
