Only a couple of people on here refuse to see the light. Selfish people. Look over the past 29 pages ,to see those couple of miscreants.

Some politicians are better than others. Smart leaders like Doug Ford listen to the experts. Dumbasses like Donald Trump ignore them.
The choice each of us has is to accept the domestic and international medical consensus on an evolving clinical issue or listen to libertarian ignoramuses babbling on about "freedom" and making up phony medical exemptions to avoid wearing a mask.

Keep in mind, many of these doctors are the same ones who were pushing for gun bans last year.
Why are we all so willing to believe what doctors are publicly saying now, but a few short months ago we thought they were quite the bloody ignorant bunch? Sure, doctors should stick to their expertise and "health" should be just that, but I'm not willing to just forget everything they've pushed for in the past and jump on the mask bandwagon.
Ontario case counts are climbing again (over 200 today) how can that be? We're all wearing masks. Ottawa has over 40 new cases and their mask policy was mandated about... 2 weeks ago. Coincidence? Just when people have become used to not touching their faces, we mandate a policy that puts people's hands near and on their faces many times a day.
But alas, what can I possibly know, a mere internet expert...lol
Sawbill, I respect your opinion around here and always have. I'll wear a mask where and when I have to out of respect for you and those who feel better about seeing me in one. I realize my opinion on this topic is largely unpopular. If nothing else I hope people reading what I've posted will be smarter about how they wear and care for their masks, because the potential to do harm to yourself and others is not being discussed publicly and is very real.
MarkB made a fair point, enough is enough. No amount of whining about it here will do any good. It will be the new normal, but I still don't have to like it.

Dr.s may not know about guns, but they do know about the wounds that they treat, caused by guns. They do know about the transmission of communicable diseases, and the best practices to prevent them. Like the holes caused by guns.

Appreciate that. We don't like taxes, or getting sick ... or the kids swearing ... it's life ...
But on this one, we really have to make sure we are fighting for things that matter ... not a stupid 6 sq inch piece of cloth ... what a waste of the human brain.

The political narrative changed when more information was released, people blaming doctors now who also are learning more about this virus. Alot of people dont trust logic in normal times...bullying around store managers to prove some silly point - right, like thats helping anything or anyone in already stressful times. Immaturity at its best. Global pandemic is a "hoax" to some people. Sad when its a very real reality to others and their loved ones.

Hey fish the last time I checked a gun has never wounded anyone or caused any holes In anybody as we all know it takes someone behind the gun to make it bark, so let's blame the people pulling the trigger and not the gun.

This tells it all, I’m not overly passionate on either side of the argument but found this funny
