Pork Barrel Politics 2020 style
Well I’m shocked that we don’t yet have a thread on the WE Charity scandal unfolding in Ottawa. Mosquito must have misplaced his phone.
the pork-barrel politics practiced by the Liberals just keeps on coming. Nobody learned from Adscam it seems and their heads are still in the clouds from their 2015 majority. Professor Sillysocks and Billy Morneau’s families received +\-$400K from the WE Charity and they returned the favour with a billion dollar contract.
Does anyone remember the 9 years of Harper government when the biggest scandal was a rich public servant paying a Senator’s expense claim out of his own private account ??

No ... just another day with the Liberals... I lumped the payment, WE paying over $300,000 to the Trudeau's etc. into the Trillion dollar deficit. The whole speaking fees, gov't payments to WE, MEtoWe (the private company), millions in real estate purchases with charity money etc etc.

Yep.... Harper let two supposedly competent adults "fix" (later ruled OK actually) the optics and the media ignores the 3 Liberal's that were far more (one 3X) and run with that nightly. The corruption runs off the scale deep, countries have had revolutions and revolts with better leaders than Justlied and crew.... and the paid for and sold out media will bend any story to fit what the Liberal, almost socialistic style agenda tells them to say.... Canada is screwed!

Screwed for sure!!!! I’m glad I’m as old as I am..... I feel sorry for my grandkids. I hold no hope for this country, with any Liebral corruption. It will become a third world Shyte hole.

Its a sad situation. Libs are playing on peoples emotions with the gun ban, refuse to answer questions or launch investigation into the NS shooting. JT promised to fix the "first past the post" method and now that dropped from their agenda. Refused to answer questions the other day about the WE scandal, skipping out of house of commons meeting, liberal filibustering important proceedings...so much for "clarity". The RCMP website prior to May 6th indicated that the new gun ban could possibly include "grandfathering" but now that verbiage is removed with no explanation from the RCMP. I asked them why on the phone and was met with silence and switch the topic "just do what we are told" they said. More guns are added to the list every week and no public announcements about it, possibly entrapping law abiding gun owners. JT and the rat pack just do not care about every canadian they only care about their ability to win the next election.
We need a leader who will unite the whole country and make decisions that will benefit everyone not just the liberal voters. Unfortunately thats a pipe dream and the furthest from reality it ever could be.

I think the same thing every day, I'm glad I grew up when I did. This is not the great country it once was.

Apparently it wasn't to WE charity.
The contract was signed to WE foundation's not WE charity. You know the foundation buy up the community block.
It shouldn't be all in one organization either is should be spread out to several.

No it should be rolled out by the government if anything, just like they are doing now. The only thing I think they got right was that charities (except for the WE foundation) are not suited for things like this. Why should millions of dollars be paid in administration fees when we are in a major deficit and so far now it seems people on government payroll are able to do it. And lets face it, should 'Ban-ada' really be spending 500 million on volunteer work? Its just a ploy to buy liberal votes. Vote grooming at its best. The whole program should be ended. When I did "volunteer work" for highschool I actually volunteered and made a difference, I wasnt nor should I have been paid to "volunteer".
Its a double edged sword giving money to students who still live at home. The youth will feel more inclined to vote for those that gave them the free cheese and also gain a few parent's votes for helping keep their kids occupied and not rag on them for money when there is a huge recession in effect.
For the responsible youth that have jobs, they arent going to benefit from this program. I had a fulltime job in highschool, made 600 a week take home, I wouldn't have quit my job to go collect turdough bucks. Just fueling the liberal mentality that everything in life should just be given to you on a silver platter like Justin is used to.
