Most of southern Ontario has or will soon have bylaws or public health orders making masks mandatory for shopping. Are you wearing one already? What's your reaction to making them mandatory?

We've had the order in place for over almost a month now in Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph and it's had a definite impact. Mask use went from 20 percent to almost 100 percent and there have only been one or two jerks who made a fuss. Making them mandatory is far better than calling upon people's "social responsibility."

We started back in March on our own. There are no sheep in this family. We did research and looked at Asian countries and how they deal with the pandemics they seem to get fairly regularly and for the most part they don’t need to DESTROY the economy. They have integrated mask wearing into their culture out of respect for each other.

We are in the same public health unit and going into the third week of Phase 3. Infection rate increases continue to decline while the economy opens up. People wearing masks helps make that happen.

When you're child is dying of cancer, or you just lost a loved one due to an accident, or lost your job and can't make ends meet .... please, by all means, come here and find your support ... but a mask???

What a bloody bunch of cry babies ... just wear it. Put a skull pattern on it, or a salmon fish kissing you ... have a great time with it, but take your civil rights BS and save it for something important.

Who walks around sneezing directly at other people? Let's try the ether test with him spraying it on the inside of his arm. Don't most now cover their mouth to cough or sneeze?

Do I wear a mask, yes. I don't have much in the way of health concern to stop me. Would I ever be so ignorant as to call out a stranger for not wearing one, no and anyone who would should get their arse handed to them, until you go through what every other person has you have no right to tell them what to wear. If you are that terrified of this bug you should have been prepared and locked yourself away.

This society we live in of running our mouths can only lead us in one direction.
