My inlaws are terrified to leave they live a simple life and never went out anyways unless it was to an appointment or to go for groceries. But they say it will be a death sentence for them to go into the store.
Hope your family is ok the anti depressants wont do any good they will just numb the feeling and turn the head to mush . Kinda like a zombie no thoughts no feelings just a complete downer. How do you feel when you feel nothing from the antidepressants. Many people will be more hurt than the virus itself. Good luck and keep the good vibes around your family. Keep the bug out of there head it will do them good, thinking about it to much does nothing good to human brains. Fear will turn into panic the panic will eventually become depressing it's a vicious cycle.
Congrats on the little one.
Stay safe

Has too much time on their hands
Nothing surprises me much anymore. If they allow free flow of Americans to cross our borders at all entries its going to take a lot more than masks to stop the spread.

Opening the border in a few weeks isn't a done deal. I think they're just going to visit the idea again at that time and find its still not gonna happen til the states gets its act together.

I don’t see the border being opened for months yet...it’s going to mean an extra 4 hour drive to Fort Francis ....Grrrrr!

Personally I hope they keep the borders closed until this situation diminishes. We don't need anyone bringing it here or going shopping or snowbirding and bringing it back. I know there's a lot of "oh but I have to go", no you don't. Your wants do not override the need to keep that crap away.

I'm seeing quite a few vehicles with US plates driving around town, lately. I spoke with a couple in the grocery store the other day who were actually Canadian citizens who live full time in the US,but, have lost jobs and are returning home until the foolishness stateside calms down and things pick up.
If a tree falls on your ex in the woods and nobody hears it,you should probably still get rid of your chainsaw. Just sayin'....

But you know it wont stay closed forever. They already expect it to stick around they will adapt it into their yearly flu. Survival of the fittest over half the u.s. is 40 and under.

We also know an American that has been here since last fall . She is trying to get all the paperwork for a Canadian citizenship covid has delayed many things.
People have tried to run her off the road twice, by other drivers thinking she is here from the u.s.. she is but she was here well before the pandemic lol.

Dumbass American driving around Ontario with American plates since last fall? If she's too stunned to have her registration changed after the better part of a year what happens is on her.
