I think the underlying point of this thread is.....Democrat (US) and Liberal (Canada) strongholds are eventually turned into s**tholes due to their policies.

Why? Because everyone, absolutely everyone , should be treated equally, and they are fighting for that right. ( No matter how stupid they are for doing damage). Republicans and Cons. are happy with the status quo.. Which is not good enough. Why did trump only send federal agents into Democratic states? Obviously to cause a rift.

He sent federal agents to protect federal property where it was under threat. The properties under threat just happened to be in Democrat run areas for some reason.

If people didn't suffer from Trump Derangement Syndrome, they'd realize that the info is extremely easy to find. The Dem's running these cities refused to prevent rioters from destroying Gov't buildings and statues(that's their job). The Fed's are next in line to protect these places and are responsible to prevent their destruction. It's called leadership. If the lib's or dem's had any respect for the rule of law, you know the law that's suppose to be applied equally across society. We'd all be better off. Trudeau is a showcase example of rules for me and rules for thee.

Not 'for some reason'. The reason was because Republican states are happy with the status quo. Democratic states don't want the same old same old, and want change in how unfairly 'some' people are treated. During the battles about segregation it was Republican states that had all the riots. Why...... because they wanted to keep things the way they were. You know , with first and second class citizens, to be decided by the colour of your skin.

Are you sure it wasn't because the Democrat mayors had their police forces stand down and allow the riots to go on?

No he is talking about the civil rights movement in the 60's. But he has it backwards. The Republicans were against segregation and the Jim Crow laws in the south.
President Johnson only signed the reforms into law, because as he said " I'll have those N#$$÷=@ voting Democrat forever. "
Looks like it worked for a while.

Sorry but please explain the riots that were mainly in the south. They were Republican strongholds all, and remain so to this day..
