It begins.......prices in select cities going up.
Just had friend that priced out 4’x4’. Piece of finished on both sides 1/2” plywood. $80.00. That’s crazy so basically a whole sheet likely 80 bucks so is that shipped in a inclosed trailer + freight

The surcharge on the insulation just add $48.65US to the price of each bundle.
Take the warning labels off. Darwin will solve the problem.

2x4 studs are 5.45 + at homedepot, luckily I had a lot of used stock to build our tree stands.

I think if I had a major project to build my first stop would be to find a band saw mill or someone who had one.

That would get you the wood..
But nails, screws, insulation and everything else going to be hard to find. It's not priority freight..

Any more hurricanes in the Texas to Florida area and any building materials destined for Canada will be turned around and headed south. I'm amazed we can buy shingles around here when its hurricane season in the gulf.

Unless you live in a unorganized area, you can’t build with rough lumber which isn't graded (stamped). Building inspector won’t approve it.
