In early childhood,we were all vaccinated against Smallpox,Polio,Measles,Mumps,Rubella,Tuberculosis, Tetanus,Diphtheria,Typhus,Typhoid,Whooping Cough (Pertussis) and a couple of others ,the names of which currently escape me. During the FLQ crisis in October 1970,I was involved with security and intel gathering at various locations around Ontario and Quebec which required a full set of international disease vaccinations from Dengue Fever to Malaria. It's a wonder I don't glow in the dark. Today,I enjoy the constitution of a horse. The point I'm trying to make is after all that,it didn't hurt me one damn bit,my kids all have ten fingers and ten toes and are reasonably well adjusted and intelligent. I think all these anti-vaxxers are NOT the swiftest Bunnies in the forest.
If a tree falls on your ex in the woods and nobody hears it,you should probably still get rid of your chainsaw. Just sayin'....

There is no corona virus vaccine coming in the sense of a traditional vaccine. Any corona virus vaccine that comes out will be an experimental RNA vaccine. There was no vaccine developed for SARS (SARS COV 1), and they tried, they aren't going to come up with a traditional vaccine for COVID (SARS COV 2) either.
I travel internationally for work and have a full set of vaccines so I am not an anti vaxxer but I do have some questions. Everything I have read about this experimental COVID vaccine makes me think I will probably take a pass.

Ordinary Flu shots are a hit-and-miss vaccine, too, right? It's better to get it than to not. Don't forget, ordinary influenza is a coronavirus, too. It's just the devil we know as opposed to Covid-19 ....the devil we don't.

Doctors are finding out that there are after affects of covid, unlike the 'regular', flu. How much after , how severe , we are just figuring that out.

Yes that is correct. However that does not mean we will find a vaccine and we may never and if one of the potential vaccines do work it will not be available until in late 2021 or sometime in 2022. We can't hide forever and we cannot shut down again in such mass. I keep reading people who think we need to shut down everything 100%. Just imagine if farmers and food plants had shut down completely we would all starve to death in a year.
We may end up having to live with this until it hopefully goes away like the Spanish Flu did. Yup more people will get sick and more will die. But luckily we are not even close to the numbers of the Spanish Flu, which considering it was harder for it to migrate still managed to kill 50 million people.

Don't know who told you Influenza is a Corona virus. It is not. Influenza is in the Orthomyxo family of viruses. Different types of vaccines and different mutation abilities. As someone else stated there has never been a vaccine for any virus in the Corona family. If and when there is it will be a first and essentially an experiment on a grand scale.

Well I think this clip answers my question earlier on as to why the big difference in our death rates.
The only current remedies/therapeutics in Canada for covid19, is a drug (Veklury) prescribed when the patient is on their last leg with pneumonia.
Seriously?
Where is the media's concern on being prepared if you contract this disease. It seems they're too busy worrying about the division they can create over wearing masks.
The US is on the eve of reducing their death rate into the 2% range.
There's a reason that's being ignored.
It's pathetic and needlessly costing lives.
How is it that the number one reason for creating this hysteria is the least mentioned. Not even being tracked.

People are under the assumption that any vaccine will be a vaccine in the traditional sense, it's not. Anything put forward will probably not go through the proper testing channels due to "emergency".
How the experimental vaccine works.
"The technology inserts coronavirus genetic code into each person, forever changing genetics and cellular processes in their body. The coronavirus RNA reprograms human cells to produce spike proteins, forcing the immune system to fight properties of a virus that are being artificially manufactured by the body’s own cells. The effects of this technology are trans-generational; the cellular manipulation can be passed down to future generations. Leading ethicists and scientists called for an end to this kind of trans-generational human genome editing in a January 2020 Geneva Statement."

Not being an MD or a research scientist,I really have no idea how vaccines work or on what except there's no vaccine in the world that cures a viral infection. If there was,the common cold would have disappeared decades ago. I'm going to hedge my bets and still get a yearly flu shot. As my MD told me,it may not prevent infection, but, there's a better than even chance it will greatly reduce the severity if I do pick up a bug.
