    Default morning hunt

Had a good morning today. Bit of a "field of dreams" hunt as hadn't scouted to hard. Field looked good and I knew geese where around. Figured if I made a nice enough spread should be able to tease some in. Most birds where high flyers and awufully quiet. Was able to seduce 2 flocks over the decoys and was able to collect some.

Nice take for sure. What type of fields were you hunting? There isn't much for cut crops over here, most of the birds hang around the soccer fields and vacant parks. I hunted over water this morning and managed to get a single, although there were plenty of birds roosted nearby only a few could be redirected.

Wheat stubble field overseeded with turnip/clover/rye. Traditionally one field or another has the geese lofing however this year looks like the main flock was not using them.

Nice, didn't get a chance to get out, lots of corn starting to come off in my region. Seems early but it is coming off....
    Congrats on the birds
