Dont think its just the city either, a week and a half ago there was a shooting 2 streets over or a few km away [emoji6]. Even if it was a little closer or if we did hear the shots its pretty common to hear the sound of gun fire.

Waiting for the Liberals to start restricting access to ammo - you know they are thinking of a way to do it

This should of been up for discussion before banning the guns. Kills far more people and ties up first responders way more than the gun. On average of 68 calls a week since 2017 ,over a dozen deaths last week alone just in Toronto not the gta.

this stuff has been going on in toronto for decades, its nothing really new, the only reason it seems worse it because of all the coverage. Use to live at islington and finch when i was a kid, we moved because of shootings and B&Es, that stuff was rarely on the news when it ever happened, times have changed, the media is just crazy nowadays too, i rarely watch any of it anymore, ive deleted all social media maybe half a year ago "instagram snapchat facebook etc" you cant tell whats real anymore half the time from all these media outlets so i just choose not to hear anything at all anymore.

Small world, we grew up in the Jane and Finch corridor... went to Westview...... Back in the day there may have been some shootings but I think we got a lot more now at least in the last few years anyway.... IMO if they bring back a version of carding, things would be a little less wild west....
