    Well not really hunting but ended shooting 4 grouse while hauling sand with the farm tractor on my property. Down to two shell. Might have get the 20 out.

    Anybody who shoots a lot of 410 should consider reloading for it. It goes from being one of the most expensive shotguns to shoot to one of the cheapest. Stock up on components and ammo shortages mean nothing to you. Ends up costing around $5 a box. Mec jr 600 used come up for sale every so often. Keep your eyes peeled.

    I was in CT last friday in the Soo, specifically looking for .410 ammo. Nary a box to be had? In fact, the entire ammo shelves looked rather bare.

    Yes, one of these days. Would be worth it for sure. Maybe once I'm retired.

    I can't speak towards .410, but the local CTC and LGS have little to none 20g. LGS has Winchester upland loads for $25/box...
