I little off topic but I placed one on a meat bait pile yesterday for the first time... It should be interesting to see how many coyotes show up... Can't wait to post some pics.... I placed mine at waste height about 10' from the bait site, removed most of the taller grass, hopefully I get a lot of pics....Can't wait..

Do it every year. Amazing how many deer come into the bait pile. If it’s in the open your going to see lots of birds. Kinda cool sometimes. Have had golden eagles, bald eagles and lots of turkey vultures.

do turkey vultures stay strictly around the same area? theres a Mennonite who has a farm close to where we hunt every time we pass by theres at least 3 of them sitting on his fence while hes working out side.

Just check with your camera - some cameras have a limit as to what size card you can use. If you use a SpyPoint cell link I believe the card needs to be 32GB or smaller.

A few of my cams have the option to do a 3 shot burst in a couple of seconds which I do and then a 5 minute delay before it can be set off again. Gives me some shots I might not have got otherwise.

After testing make sure there are no grasses or other plants or branches near the lens. Always a good idea to clear this stuff away. Try and set up the camera facing away from the sun and have it set about 2 feet high.

Great point.....I set up a SpyPoint cell camera and got nothing but sunrise pics for 3 weeks until I had time to go back out and move it.

As a rule of thumb, you should face your camera northwards or southwards to avoid sun glare. My cameras face northward as the sun will be behind it at noon, hence no glare or shadows.
