Got out to hunt today
Went out hunting this morning with my son and a buddy out at Marlborough Forest hunted there for a few hours and saw nothing.
Stopped and spoke to a fella coming out from setting bear bait. Came home dropped my son off to go work at the dairy farm.
So thought I would take a walk down at some crown land off 31. Was walking through the woods and new I was coming up to a corner that usually held one or two grouse so I thought I was ready rounded the corner and see two of them and went to shoot, nothing safety was on, get safety off and the birds take flight I manged to get one in the air.
Walked down the road another 200 yards and 12 Turkey's pop out, season opens tomorrow maybe I should go buy a license.

Nice grouse but you know if you get a turkey tag you won't see any turkeys LOL
