Lol gilly you failed to miss the two glaring mistakes in my post I thought a smart fellow like you would pick up on them. One being if you did charge for this leftist wisdom, you would go hungry as no one in there right mind would pay to hear it and the second being there is no such thing as leftist wisdom but please keep trying. Cheers.

Can I ask what kind of experiences brought you to that kind of thinking, Canadaman 30 ?

These people you speak of on average work up to 18 hrs a day with little to no sleep.
I am a go getter and need little sleep to no sleep I have worked 30 hr shifts to 100 hr work weeks . Slowly I am climbing higher but I came from the very bottom and life is good so that's all that matters. If I had more I could make more but I don't but it's not the end of the world. Some of my sleeps are only considered naps to some lol. But again life is good [emoji12]
Life is what you make of it not how much money you have or make . People who are in total different tax brackets but the lesser of 2 could have more money just from their lifestyle choices.
Bankruptcy is part of the game for some ,they had an idea it didn't work they try again and succeeded .Maybe you should be mad at the banks for only alloying to put in some of the money to invest in. But then again risk and reward is a thing.
So if the rich couldn't donate and needed to give more of it to the government for what? so they all get more raises more money in their pockets ? Line their friends with more ?
Who payed for your MRI machine in your local hospital I bet it wasn't our trusted government. Nope it was some guy with to much money right lol. Someone that probably worked hard and made something for them selves and now paying it forward to a good cause.
Let's give it all to government so all the government positions get more . They need more Or is that they can't manage what they already have ?
The government probably pissed away billions of dollars on these mega makers you speak of on Canada. Why 50 million to visa
When their annual Proffitt is much higher? Again Loblaws and many more that already make huge Proffitts. See a problem here ? If I payed 60 thousand to taxes to the government or gave it to a church or a hospital what's it mater where if goes probably better of if it doesn't make it to the government lol.

Can't say I disagree with much you have posted but you and I probably come from the same back ground, work your way up the hard way.
I know lots of rich people pay for Hospital wings, MRI's and what have you,but there are companies out there avoiding all and any taxes.
We have a middles class both in America and Canada,Britain,Australia that is disappearing. Your big companies like GM are operating in Mexico with almost slave labour, they are making much bigger profits ,but you and I don't see any upside to that and they hide from the tax man.

Don't forget part of the reason they left was unreasonable demands from unions and the massive taxes on them as well the cost of Hydro. Remember under Mcquity manyu large companies left and many left because of the cost of hydro. So essentially if you voted Liberal you were in favor of these companies leaving as you knew quite well they would leave. The Liberals were very well aware of that.

Anyone who believes the dubious stories that Donald Trump only paid $750 per year has a very special kind of stupid gullibility. As for owing $400M to creditors, not one dime is owed by him personally. Some of the companies he controls might (yet to be determined),but, that's just "business". It happens all the time with businesses all over the world, not just with Trump Enterprises,besides,$400M to them is chump change. Liberal-Democrat socialists, have been completely bamboozled by Trump and his administration to the point where TDS "Trump Derangement Syndrome" has them totally distracted from the overall big picture, completely unable to differentiate between fact and fiction,so,they're choosing fiction because it fits their agenda. The strategy is brilliant and has worked from day 1keeping the opposition completely off-balance unable to do anything, but, sit on their collective arses sucking their thumbs in a perpetual state of high dudgeon to the point of disfunctionality. I watched ABC's "The View" with Mrs.T today and watched that idiot of a Joy Behar almost have a nervous breakdown with her ridiculous hysteria. The rest of the shows have been Trump bashing extravaganzas right along with CNN and MSNBC for years, testament to the distraction factor. Will he win in November? Likely because the US economy is strong, investment income is high and so are corporate profits. That,in and of itself, should do the trick. One thing is absolutely certain. If he wins, the leftist meltdown will be epic.

I can switch that around for you in a second, the only reason they set up shop here in the first place is because they got cheap hydro, access to unlimited water and free health care.GM plant.
So GW GM moves their plant to Mexico, pay's their guys there $2.50 an hour,no health benefits, get subsidies to go there. They turn out a truck for a much reduced cost but you go to your dealership here, you don't get the truck for $20,000 you get to pay $60,000. Where did the other $40,000 disappear to.They also are not paying any taxes in Canada but want to sell here?Do you think that is OK.

Like the TTC where dose all that money go? don't they make money from the fairs. Our airlines being bailed out don't they make enough money? It's our government that's the problem budgets balance them selves [emoji39][emoji6][emoji23].
Some things are not the governments problems but they will feed them whatever they want . Including most unions lol
