They can only take what they know you have. You really think that Joe will change their gun laws.........not a chance. There would be a civil war in the US if they banned AR's or carry permits. You cannot compare NZ to the USA........the two countries could not be further apart.

1st off - automatic firearms have been prohibited since 1978.......42 years ago! Why even bring this into discussion because we are not talking about fully automatic firearms.
2nd off center fire mag capacity is 5 yds for rifle and 10 rds for pistol. Your Remington 7400 deer gun has a 4 round capacity.........one less than my AR, so what makes my AR bad to own and shoot and your Remington 7400 OK or own and shoot?
3rd off rate of fire - both can fire 4 or 5 rounds before the first casing hits the ground........was there a point to this?

JT is clearly being emboldened by Ardern's big win without doubt,talking about causing a non-confidence vote over the WE scandal. It's not a stretch to see the Liberals literally steamroll the opposition and return with a huge majority. They can lock in a solid relationship with Beijing,drive the final nail in the Energy coffin,ban the private ownership of all firearms and change the Election Act to guarantee future Liberal governments. As long as they don't mess with hockey,welfare and Tim Horton's,Canadians couldn't care less. I doubt they'd even notice.

The very first order of business providing the Dems gain control of both The House or Representatives and The Senates will be gun control writ large. They could actually pull it off or they could trigger the second US Civil War.

I would be willing to wager that if sleepy Joe does manage to some how win (and yes kamala is pulling the puppet strings ) and tries to push gun control down their throats that yes it will most definitely trigger another war between the states.
