I said why did you do that he said it won't kill him, just gives him a sore a ss.
I am contemplating on calling the MNR but not sure what they could do , my word against his.
What would you do?
I'm sure someone from the OMNR will read this and request your information from OOD to carry out further investigations. Thanks for reporting.

I would recommend to distance yourself from the person or group.
Tel him tell Them why , and hope the others will do the same as you .
If the person will disagree with you , and acting out , recommend him to seek help... for his behaviour .
If that is not enough for him , tell him to report himself ...
I guess MNR would not recommend creating conflict in the hunting camp ... I think .
You could rethink with whom you are going to go hunting ... (Newer can be prepared for such a behaviour...)
If nothing helps to he realize what he have down , He is not leaving you with any option than to report Him .

That was a despicable act which blemishes hunting and hunters. Ultimately it’s up to you. Obviously, the incident bothered you enough to mention it on this site so you should do your part and report it.
Proving the offence will be problematic as it will be your word against his. The JP will render a verdict on the evidence presented at trial and the credibility of witnesses. The accused is not obliged to testify at trial, and that is the only way he can deny your accusation. Should he decided to testify and attempt to refute your testimony, he would be subject to cross-examination by the prosecutor. A good prosecutor should be able to make him out to be a liar.

Makes me sick to my stomach. I think you have a moral obligation to call. These kind of people should not own firearms, PERIOD!

... and if so, JUDGE is one of the "poachers in the truck".
You should probably get on the phone OP, sooner the better.
