They don't fall into a pool 2 like the current system when you miss a year applying, There has been a lot of money spent by hunters to keep moose hunting open and now are being penalized. Hell this is one way to bring back all the hunters who have quit for one reason or another.
Agreed-i also dislike(nothing i can do thought)the fact that if someone was applying and getting tags to far away areas(anything beyond Thunder Bay-from Eastern/Southern part of Ontario)is now on a backseat to the hunters they were applying and not getting tags to convenient -close=hard to get tags to areas. Not that there is anything wrong with wanting to hunt close to home-and this is not their fault-just does not sound fair.
After all-the hunters going far contributed to the economy year after year.

Not sure where that will fit in with point system as far as how long before I get a tag?
Which webpage did you use to see your history? I tried to get mine, but, can't find it.

I dont think this is right. It says if you claim a tag that was your first choice your points reset to 0. So only if there are surplus calf tags and you get one as your 2nd choice will you get to keep your points.

So-any area You want to go and have 10 points requirement(or less-of course)will be a fair game.
Unless-there will be overabundance of high point hunters, wanting to hunt there too.
Thanks, no matter what, I will hunt the WMU my camp is on. Might have to wait longer for a tag. I can only travel far for one hunt, and that will always be a Deer hunt.

Any speculation on how many points a tag will cost? In say 47 where I hunt? My uncle said they're going back to 1993 for you to collect points. So, I wonder if a bull tag will cost like 29 points LOL.

Apparently,if I read it correctly, that will depend on the overall adult population of the particular WMU. Some WMU's may not have any tags issued while others will have many of all types.
