Caught betwwen a fog and a hot place
Crazy weather today. Wanted an early start as figured with the forecasted temps today hunter and dogs would burn out quick. Plans got shift when I arose to a dense fog. Got set up at the first spot about 1 1/2 after sunrise. Only moved 1 bird which had me worried they have moved on through. Stopped at another spot and started making contacts. Seems the rain we had, had the birds relating to young pines in the hard woods. Bounced around and picked up 5 still a good mix of hens and males so they're not gone yet. With the heat and humidity was getting too much like work so called it early.
This weekend so be a dandy with the drop in temps expected.

Looks like you had another great day out! I’ve been tied up this week and into tomorrow, but I plan on hunting 2-3 times next week. Hoping there will be some big flights moving through by then!
