Great Day In The Woods
Well finally made it out to hunt woodcock today and it was a great one. Was hunting with a longtime friend his Braque francais and my GSP pup. Woodcock where around in good numbers and the dogs put on a good show for us with excellent points and retrieves. The experienced Braque showed off his skills on some running birds following them without putting presser on them to flight. We harvested 12 woodcock and IMG_4057.jpgalso had some grouse contacts and put one in the game bag. We where hunting north of Clinton and I believe this will be the week to be out there for them.
