One of the best outdoor films ever. I have read the book too and it is every bit a good!

I have the DVD's and the books of the Dick Proenneke story. Every time I see him make the door and hinges for that door I am in awe.
Another suggestion is "Nahanni"
You may think you are tough...but you will never be Albert Faille tough...especially at 73yrs old.
