Well went 2-3 today on woodcock while grouse hunting. Looks like there’s still some moving through.

flushed 2 today around Newmarket and 1-2 every day of the week in the subdivision

That’s great, glad to hear there are still a few around here and there in certain areas. In my last two outings, yesterday and last Wednesday, I haven’t seen any in the areas that I hunt north of Barrie.
Overall I’d have to say it is was a great woodcock season, saw a good amount of birds on a consistent basis, with the big flights coming the last 5-6 days in October.

Had 2 pointed at Hullett yesterday. Even a decent amount of splash in a couple spots. I'd imagine they left last night...
