the other damaging thing CERB is doing is inflating the cost for business owners to run their business - for example I know a successful businessman who employs 50+ people and hes having a hard time keeping people at work - alot of ppl want to stay home, and the ones he tries to recruit that would normally work for say $18 / hr now want $25+ per hour - why work for any less when Commrade Justin gives me 2k to stay home and play...

There are still calls to shut down everything including food processing plants. I don't think people actually know where and how food gets to the store and where it originates.
Most people seem to think food is just there in the store. In reality there is a 5 day supply of food in the city. Shut everything down and everyone starves

The question is, what happens when the country can't make the payment on the loan?
They are deliberately torpedoing small businesses, and it seems like deliberately hemorraging money.
When you cant make the payment on your house, the bank takes it away. When you cant make the payment on your country... does the bank "own" it?

Trudeau has essentially doubled the Canadian Debt during 5 years in power. He said he wanted to make a brighter future for the next generation.
So I guess leaving them a massive Liberal mess to clean up is his way of doing it.
Liberals on here are probably proud that they have ruined their children or grandchildren futures.

Must not be right Freeland already said the trillion word the other day for Canada's debt.
With a big smile like she was so proud [emoji1787] .

Maintaining Canada’s low debt advantage
Entering into the crisis, Canada had the lowest net debt-to-GDP (gross domestic product) ratio among the Group of Seven (G7) countries, reflecting significant holdings of financial assets. Due to temporary COVID-19 related spending, the federal debt-to-GDP ratio is expected to rise from 31 per cent in 2019-20 to 49 per cent in 2020-21. Even with this adjustment, Canada is expected to maintain its low-debt advantage.

How is it the government going to fund services. I guess people will be upset when they can’t get the healthcare they need.
Let that sink in.
