Should I still eat it?
So I shot another squirrel and I was cleaning it and on the liver it had some kind of fat or membrane but at first it was ballooned up so I squeezed it no liquid came out so I don’t know if it was air. Should I think anything of it? Would you guys still eat it? I took this pic to post. IMG_4794.jpg

The liver has its own skin on it which was probably ruptured during processing.
If it were me, he would be in the pot simmering.

How is it one careless cigarette can cause a forest fire, but it takes a whole box of matches to light a campfire?

So far I only shot 2 and I froze the first one so I haven’t cooked any yet. I’ve been looking up recipes online and I think I might try to fry them or make some kind of stew

I like to do them up in a stir-fry. I try to have 3 or 4 feeds a year. I prefer them to eating rabbit and I do like those as well too!

There's a recipe on the internet, YouTube I believe. Kentucky Fried Squirrel. Gives you the ingredients for KFC coating. Tried it and it was outstanding.
