'if I have to wear a mask I won't spend my money here' .The employees reply was priceless. 'Good, GET OUT', come back when you have some sense'. I thanked her for that, when I was at the cash.
I was at circle k the other nights talking to a friend . Seen 2 people in 20 minutes not wear a mask into the store both got what they wanted and left . I guess it depends on how you feel towards a mask. Some just want to blame the people who choose not to wear it. . Just like the rally in aylmer Ontario some people lost their mind when they didn't have a mask on. They are so afraid that they think only a mask will save them.

I've cut back my activities in response to the surge. No more indoor dining, fewer grocery trips, more online buying, etc. And do not effing think about coming near me if you are not wearing a mask inside a store.
Then why aren't the masks working to stop the spread, like our governments told us months ago?
Why did the virus spread less when nobody was wearing masks?
If masks worked like we were told they do, then why the surge in numbers? The only thing thats been proven is that masks are not doing what were being told they would do. Now our governments are singing a different song, telling us we need a vaccine, but only months ago we were told wearing masks will get us back to normal.

Most of the morons who doesn't wear a mask aspire to be some sort of "freedom fighters" and do not care if they present a risk to the health of anyone around them. I'm happy to return the favour and will not care in the slightest if they or someone they care about die a gruesome death hooked up to a ventilator because of their stupidity.

Watched folks coming out of the grocery store the other day....the hand grabs the mask, rips it of the face and crumbles it up into their pockets. Others heading into the store reaching into their pockets and pulling out their used mask and , once the figure which side is 'out', put it back on for the 50th time that week.
It all confirmed they are useless...they stop protecting you once you grab it with your hand..unless you immediately wash your hand with Purell. Most people head to the car and then handle all their groceries with the same hand that just touched the mask, fix their hair, handle the sunglasses grab the steering wheel etc etc.
Masks are nothing but props that we're abiding by government mandated rules. But they are pretty much useless in actually preventing anything. The numbers of increased cases confirms that. Masks are mandatory...yet case are rising.
I guess they will make gloves mandatory next with stricter lockdowns HaHa..

26 of the 40 deaths in the long term care home near me came without doctors or proper treatment. This is a problem the hospital was called in as a last ditch effort after almost 30 lives were lost . It is the same problem all over Ontario. The elderly people who contacted this disease are dying without proper care.
Why is that ? Because as Mike said the hospital's are already maxed out without covid 19 patients..
Why haven't we tried to resolve this horrible issue ?
At least a covid center would save many more people .

Well do you wear goggles? It can spread throughout the pores of your eyes. So a masks is not that effective.
Like mike said proper handling of a mask is the key.
Like he mentioned without proper care of if it's kinda useless to keep us safe .
I for one always sanitize before taking it off only by the straps behind me ears. It never goes into my pocket it always staying on the dash. . I do not wear goggles and only use a mask indoors when needed. I don't think it's going to 100 % effective so there are risks even wearing it.
Did you get the memo last week my mask is not good it's only a 2 ply face covering. The population isn't wearing proper medical grade mask. So yes it lowers the chance of infection but it's not a cure all nor will it stop the majority of the cases.
Ps I haven't got a 3 ply yet . I have 3 or 4 mask's already I'm not going to rush out and replace my old ones. Sorry not going to happen .

As we have been advised numerous times, masks are not to protect the wearer but others around them. You don’t do it for yourself but others, like that cashier at Circle K. Not to wear one when advised is nothing but selfish.

Glasses not goggles so better than nothing. All my masks are 3 or 4 ply. I know how to handle mine too without touching my face. Even if a majority of people do not that does not justify not wearing masks or opposing the regulations requiring them.
We agree that nothing is going to be 100 percent but the percentages are more in your favour when you wear a mask and everyone else around you does too. Seat belts don't stop all traffic fatalities either.
My issue with the clowns who don't wear masks is that they think they are fighting a good fight against government domination when they are actually self-centered jerks. Thankfully there aren't that many of them out there.
