Has too much time on their hands
The election is as soon as the NDP and Liberals disagree in a confidence vote.
Seems National Police Federation and Bill disagree.....

Costly and current legislation, such as the Order in Council prohibiting various firearms and the proposed “buy-back” program by the federal government targeted at legal firearm owners, does not address these current and emerging themes or urgent threats to public safety. It also does not address:
•criminal activity,
•illegal firearms proliferation,
•gang crime,
•illegal guns crossing the border or
•the criminal use of firearms.
In fact, it diverts extremely important personnel, resources, and funding away from addressing the more immediate and growing threat of criminal use of illegal firearms.

No I did not. Why do you keep stating a false narrative. To support a political party does not mean you support all of their policies. Get real . Do you agree with absolutely everything that the party you support proposes? I somehow doubt it.

Lets go at it a different way; all else being equal (or irrelevant) ...If the Cons develop a Cracker Jack policy to deal with Gun Violence that doesn't include gun confiscation will you vote for them ???

What Erin O Toole writes about what he intends to do and what he will do are two completely different things. If you look at the recent U.S. I did not hear a peep about "gun control" in anybody's election platform nore was it asked of any of the two main candidates in the televised debates. How come.
So the Liberals had this ban as part of their election promises right up front. No hidden agenda.
Canadians voted on that platform and they won the election.
This is a wedge issue so I do not think Erin O Toole will push on this issue because the "jury is already out" on it as per the last election.
In relation to domestic violence this is a very slippery slope and I can tell you that you need to be real careful here.
Police officers were basically "ordered'" over 25 years ago that if they attended any domestic call where any alleged violence took place "a charge will be laid". No if,end or but.
So today the situation is even worse, officers are so scared of losing their jobs that you can bet your bottom dollar somebody is going to get arrested.
Right now my wife and I are looking after my BIL was has cerebral palsy and a few physical handicap's. Despite that he has worked the last 30 years every day without fail.
Anyway his wife decided she wanted out of the marriage because my BIL did not want to support her adult son who was idle,
she decided to call the police and alleged six criminal offences he committed against her.She was supported by the son and a girlfriend,he was unable to explain himself to the police, they locked him up and did not even take a statement from him.
The end result he was thrown out of his home, almost committed suicide and has been living with us for a year.
No proper investigation by the police, her third marriage, she had a criminal record.
All the charges were dropped by the Crown without going to trial as he agree to a 1 year peace bond to get rid of her.
He has now lost his home and suffers from ill health.
So Erin might be well meaning with this domestic issue but does he really know what is going on and has been going on for the past 25 years and generally the male in the relationship getting the short end of the stick. This is not an even playing field.
If you add a husband's possession of even ONE FIREARM into this mix and an allegation of its use or threatened use then bend over gentlemen?

It depends on many-any other plans they might have. How a party handles gun violence is not the only reason, (the be all or end all) ,whether I would vote for them. I do not vote for a particular party based on one particular issue, but the entire policy package. If every other important to me, policy was the same , 'I sure would'.

You know the reason for this problem is liberalization in this country. Liberal governments like to demonize gun owners with their bought and paid for media.
It was your tyrant buddy Blair who claimed head of the CCFR said gun owners will open up on police which women and children will get caught in the cross fire if they try to take their guns. The sheeple eat that shyte up because they are told how to think.
