quick update
Reminder...this is in a city of 1.2 million people. The latest numbers say there are 29 Covid patients in the hospitals..that is .002% of the population. With only 323 active cases (.03% of pop) the Covid virus in Ottawa is really not an issue. Hospitalisations have been in decline all of Nov.
On Oct 8th there are 33 in Hospitals including 8 in the ICU.
On Oct 16th there were 47 in Hospitals with 8 in the ICU.
On Nov 14th..there are 60 in the Hospitals and 8 in the ICU
On Nov 25th there are 29 in the Hospital and 2 in the ICU
Locally (Leed Grenville) we have dropped from 17 case in mid Nov to only 7 active cases now..that is in a population of 173,000 or .004 % of pop
Does still make me wonder why this is still the #1 story on the News every day. The numbers are meaninglessly low. There is no threat to public health, there are no 'Hot Spots ' to warn of...nothing.
Why are they continuing with the fear mongering.

Ottawa is doing well compared to many other places .
I heard this morning a London Ontario hospital as an outbreak on all floors .
I have a feeling York region will be in a lock down by Friday depending on the numbers the next 2 days.

Boy oh boy he sure is some kind of fool. Turns out that he has no business license. What was he thinking when he puts himself front and center ,that they would not find that out? A little research shows that he believes in all kinds of conspiracy theories. Nutjob.

Even worse are the assortment of mouth-breather losers outside his dumpy little restaurant.
Media reports today say police have changed the locks on the building. LOL.

Agreed, there is not one person outside the restaurant supporting him.......that you would want to marry your daughter.

Wonder if he will break his way in .
Someone has to stand up .
Watching the news last night and lots of people are not ok with shutdowns. It had a live feed chat and many simply do not agree just like here. Only a matter of time before more stand up.

It will be interesting how it turns out, sad to see the displays by the lovers of absolute government power cheering that attack on a business owner. We can see the admiration for tyrants and dictatorships and their followers disdain for others with their "how dare he think", "how dare he oppose gov't policy" but those would disappear and be replaced by more virtue signalling and screaming if it was something that affected themselves I bet. Their attitude and disdain show how easily a dark situation can be made progressively worse by some... to paraphrase Jordan Peterson "hell is bottomless, there is always some person that can make it worse"

I already know places that are gone for good, hope it makes it, looks like a good place to eat! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mDe4lXHuwCY I'm sure the tofu and greens gazers would like to see it close.
