Making Smoke in 2020
Wish everyone who's heading out a safe and successful hunt.
I'll be taking out my Traditions Pursuit Pro 50 cal with PR Bullets, 250 gr Dead Centres. Found they like 90 gr of Alliant Powder, which I have determined to be much better than BH209 buy unfortunately no longer available. So I'll have to be stingy with my last 1/2 lb...it was a Beta vs VHS type of marking situation and BH209 won HaHa.
My alternate ML will be a Parker Hale .58 cal Musketoon. I'll be using 60 gr of FFg Goex and my 426 gr Minnie Balls for that load.
Hopefully I'll have a story for you by weeks end and looking forwards to hear about all your successes.
Be safe ..keep your powder dry !!!

Supposed to get 20+ cm in 81b starting tomorrow and 25+ in 82a.
The wilderness is not a stadium where I satisfy my ambition to achieve, it is the cathedral where I worship.

Has too much time on their hands
Should be a good morning around here just ahead of a 3 day storm if one has a spot for an east wind.
Good luck everyone!

Funny you should mention, I went out a noon today and moved a blind from south of the trail to North of the trail...better chance the East wind will help me there.
Yes the Pop up will see some use for a day or two...but the end of the week looks great.

Yes once this system moves through it should be really good. Thursday and on here, maybe a little later your way.
